Job Description

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a positive experience for everyone on site. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Tue 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Wed 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Fri 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Sat 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM Sun 09 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as per site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
