Well-established, multi-plant Food manufacturer serving retail, foodservice and industrial customers. The mission for the Procurement Director is to lead the purchasing function as well as manage and motivate purchasing team members.
You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, building positive relationships, managing all aspects of the RFP Process, developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures, and leading negotiations for programs, pricing, and terms.
This role is based in our client’s flagship facility Reno, Nevada.
Open due to retirement. Reports to the President.

Competencies / Culture :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant Procurement Management experience in Food manufacturing
- Commodity buying experience
- Strong leadership experience managing teams
- Ability to travel up to 10%
