We are seeking a Home Care Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule for all clients and caregivers.
This includes ensuring that all shifts are covered at least 2 weeks in advance. In addition, the scheduler is responsible for tracking, changing and refilling all vacation requests, call-offs, requests for changes by the client, etc.
and ensuring scheduling software has been updated. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering phones as needed
- Understanding the staffing software
- Monitoring daily schedules
- Entering new prospective clients into system
- Replaces absentee home care aides as needed
- May be required to provide on-call services after hours and weekends
- Promotes effective Home Care services in compliance with agency philosophy, policies and procedures, and in accordance with State licensing laws and regulations
- Works closely with office staff to promote inter-agency and intra-agency communication to assure appropriate client care
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 years related experience in Home Care
- Scheduling experience
- Experience in answering calls
- Ability to handle multiple challenges and meet deadlines
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Filing, copying,
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent computer skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Maintains a current CNA or HCA license(optional)
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
