1 The Test Kitchen Prep is responsible for helping drive innovation by setting up the test kitchen with
products needed for the Director of Culinary and Sr Director of Menu Strategy and Product innovation to
participate in kitchen working Sessions. This is done by following orders and a prep list accurately
including preparing pizza dough, setting up dough trays, removing products from the freezer to thaw,
following orders accurately, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetable, cheeses, and meats. Checking
in deliveries, cleaning as needed, and organizing the walk in and dry storage. Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Operate all machinery in accordance with Marco’s safety requirements and all applicable
state and federal laws (by law, employees under the age of 18 cannot operate or clean
certain machinery).
Follows Marco’s procedures for preparing dough, sauce, and toppings, and correctly
making and preparing all Marco’s products to agreed upon levels.
Maintains supply of toppings and supplies in the refrigerator and freezer. Alerts the Director of Culinary when ingredient levels are low and need to be reordered.
Prepares and serves products. Gives input on operational procedures based on their
experience.
Removes products from the oven, cuts, and helps as needed.
Identifies new ingredients that arrive in the test kitchen and puts them away.
Communicates frequently with management and other employees
Maintains cleanliness of the test kitchen. Rotates and discards expired products.
Shows up on time, clocks in as required, and works with a sense of urgency.
Showcases a level of enthusiasm for the job, is excited to be a part of the team, and
possesses a can do attitude. Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent Marco’s Franchising, LLC

Maintain compliance with all corporate-mandated training certification requirements.
Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and demeanor conducive to a 5-star Guest experience.
Maintain compliance with all company, store, federal, state, and local policies, procedures,
laws and ordinances as required (particularly with regards to food, health, and safety).
Maintain a just-opened store and personal appearance - unless actively making a product,
all employees should be cleaning, all the time.
Advocate and demonstrate Marco’s Cultural Beliefs on a daily basis.
Avoid any use of personal electronic devices while on the clock.
Demonstrate teamwork and a sense of urgency.
Abide by all policies as set forth in this Handbook and the Marco’s Manuals.
Working Conditions and / or Physical Requirements :
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours) on any given day
Need to be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.
