RESPOND, Inc. is seeking a full time Office Assistant. This position reports to the Office Manager, and will help in business office of commercial establishment.

This is a full time non exempt, hourly position, hours are 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm with a half hour lunch. Hours may change to 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm with a half hour lunch.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

None

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Handles the organization's social media accounts, monitors comments, interacts with social media community, encourages audience engagement, and posts regular content.
  • Answers calls and routes them as appropriate.
  • Receives and tracks all visitors at reception area and triages them as appropriate.
  • Creates files, organizes, and files information on children enrollments.
  • Keeps inventory of Business and Fiscal office supplies, and does all orders as necessary.
  • Furnishes workers with clerical supplies.
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, and collects, seals, and stamps outgoing mail.
  • Delivers oral and / or written messages.
  • Collects and distributes paperwork, from one department to another, and other business establishments.
  • Operates office equipment such as envelope-sealing machine, letter opener, stamping machine, multifunction device machine.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Have a positive attitude and keep a solution-based and customer-focused mindset at all times

Education and Experience :

  • Associate Degree or higher education required
  • 2 to 3 years' related experience in all responsibilities of the position

Compensation :

Hourly rate is $17 an hour commensurate with experience
