JOB DESCRIPTION
Mornings with Maria is looking for a talented Senior Producer to join the team and help manage the smartest conversation in the morning! Maria Bartiromo and her team are committed to covering the most important business and political news stories of the day.
From Silicon Valley to Wall Street to the White House and even across the pond, Maria, alongside a rotating panel of experts, is talking to viewers about issues that matter.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior Producer is a leader, especially in the control room
- Manage production, serving as the key person between talent and staff
- Strong business news judgment especially during breaking news, including financial news, such as market volatility, the release of earnings, and plunging stock value
- Help plan daily and future editorial content for the show
- Assist in the management and development of staff from Production Assistants to Bookers to Line Producers, including overseeing and rewriting copy, graphics, and the cutting of VO / SOTs, packages
- Coordinate guests, field crews, shoots, and staffing
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 5+ years of proven live newsroom experience, including management of control room and line / segment producers, for television newscast
- Knowledge and passion for current events, particularly financial and political news
- Exceptional editorial skills
- Ability to work under pressure, be decisive, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines
- A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is : $95,000.
00-133,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
