Overview
Product Engineering Support is a data entry position that provides office support to the Product Engineering group. Duties are divided between documentation control and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Works with a team to coordinate, monitor, and expedite the flow of engineering information, both within the department and between departments
- Uses engineering information to generate database records, work instructions and CNC machine files
- Releases drawings and engineering documents to operations and other departments
- Organizes and maintains files and records
- Plans and schedules meetings and appointments
- Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, and presentations
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Experience providing administrative support, preferably in an engineering environment
- Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
