Full-time Nurse
Jill's House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church called by God to love families raising children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 6-22) toward Jesus by providing them with short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services.

Position Description / Responsibilities :
Under the guidance of our Nursing Director and with the support of our well trained and experienced DSP team members, the nurse on duty is the point person for any medically related needs of clients who stay at Jill's House.
Nurses' responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Administering home medications
- Managing tube feedings
- Attending to injuries / administering first aid
- Responding to all medical emergencies
We are looking for a nurse with afternoon / evening availability to join our team. The acuity of our clients is low, and we have a wonderful team of Direct Care Specialists to assist with all client ADLs.
Shifts :
Available Shifts :
o Tuesday, Wednesday and / or Thursday 1 : 30- 9 : 30 PM
o Saturday and Sundays, 4, 8 or 12 hour shifts
o Overnight availability, while only needed occasionally, is greatly valued
- Full-time - 30+hours per week.

Education / Experience :
- Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current, active, and unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia or state with compact reciprocity.
- BSN is preferred.
- Candidate must have a current CPR / BLS certification.
- One year of nursing experience is required. Pediatric, intellectual / developmental disability, or neurological experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications :
- Candidate must have the ability to remain calm, focused and anticipate medical / nursing care needs and provide solutions.
- Candidate must be confident in nursing skills and willing to learn best practices in caring for clients with disabilities.
- Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills and must work well with others.
- Candidates must be able to take the initiative, collaborate well with others, and have organizational skills.
- Candidate must demonstrate alignment with the foundation, vision, mission, and values of Jill's House.
- Candidate must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision & Values and Standards of Christian conduct.
