Maintenance Tech IV, Electrician

Responsibilities

Summary :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Good communication skills & know basic shop math
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required
• Able to lift / move up to 30 pounds regularly
• Able to follow and carryout instructions
• Ability to perform LOTO
• Ability to operate Mobile Equipment
• Knowledge of basic shop tools
• Able to do gauging and measuring
• Knowledge of basic machine mechanics
• Basic computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Work Order Database)
• Able to assist with basic tasks assigned by lead, supervisor or more senior maintenance tech with basic electrical and / or mechanical work orders
• Must be Mobile Equipment Operator Certified
• Able to use Express Maintenance Proficiently
• Basic knowledge and demonstration of basic pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and electronics
• Able to demonstrate at basic level jobs requiring industrial wiring, motor controls, and HVAC
• Able to demonstrate basic knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting shop floor machinery
• Able to do moderate PLC troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting maintenance work orders related to mechanical repairs
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HVAC repairs and maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electrical repairs & troubleshooting
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for all shop floor machinery
• Advanced level fabrication / sheet metal work

Education and / or Experience

• Highschool or GED preferred
• Minimum of 7+ Years of Maintenance Experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend basic shop math (algebra)
