Mid-Level Structural Designer
Description :
- Support sr. designers and project team members across a wide range of industries (power generation, mining, oil and gas, and renewables) to ensure structural drawing deliverables are completed on-time and within budget.
- This role will mainly focus on oil / gas projects
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to resolve physical design clashes within the 3D model, while also reviewing the 3D model for completeness.
- Travel to client facilities with experienced project team members may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions.
- Produce 2D structural drawing deliverables with attention to quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
- CAD certificate required if non-degreed
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (. AutoCAD or MicroStation).
- Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design
- Awareness of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design
- Awareness of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- Attention to detail

- CAD Software skills valued but not required
- Proficiency with Bentley Open Buildings Designer preferred
