Marketing and Promotions Intern
The Bristol Blues are a summer season collegiate baseball team. We are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball league, and play a 22 home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut.
Since the organization’s conception in 2015, we have achieved three championship appearances, three semi-final appearances and one quarter final appearance.
We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable night out for fans of all ages paired with high quality baseball. It is our goal to provide interns with a valuable learning experience where they will receive exposure in every part of the organization.

You will receive experience and understanding in :
- Sport entertainment marketing

- Promotions planning
- Planning and execution of events from start to finish
You will be responsible for :
- Executing promotions from start to finish
- Oversee Game Day Operations interns work related to marketing and promotional nights
- Interact with Bristol community about upcoming Blues events and games
- Work directly with our Social Media team to discuss marketing initiatives
- Seek out prospective fans and groups for promotions
Start and End Date :
This position will begin as a remote position on April 1st. The time commitment will be approximately 3-5 hours per week.
Intern will have a vital role in promotional night planning alongside GM and Assistant GM’s.
By the end of your internship, we expect that you will have a deeper understanding of sport marketing and promotional night planning.
It is our goal for our candidates to receive hands-on experience and have a direct impact in Blues organizational success.
If an intern fulfills an internship requirement part way through the season, they are required to stay until the end of the season.
This position is an unpaid internship. We encourage you to utilize this opportunity to fulfill any college requirements.
