Quality, Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator
As the Quality , Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator , you will be responsible for administering an effective Environmental, Health, and Safety program and for reporting on matters concerning accidents involving property damage, serious injuries and the findings pertaining to equipment accidents, incidents and near misses.
Thorough knowledge of fundamentals of safety education, industrial hygiene, accident prevention and safety psychology. This position also supports the Quality department with various audits and regulatory compliance items.

Your Challenge :
Maintains oversight quality management system and ensures continuous quality improvement by addressing deficiencies in a timely manner and communicating concerns to the appropriate parties
Author and / or facilitate authoring and review of QHSE documents across functional areas (including SOPs, Forms, Quality Investigations, etc.)
Directs and monitors processes and ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and company-designated regulations
Perform quality and safety trends analysis and reports
Administers a technically sound EHS program, which includes the following actions : OSHA / DEP training, conduct audits & inspections, development & implementation of safety policies, resolve Worker's Compensation claims, maintain emergency response / evacuation plan, coordinate site waste removal & distribution of protective equipment
Maintains close working relationships with departmental managers / supervisors to assure proper support of the safety program at each location.
Provides guidance to and counsels employees.
Investigates accidents, near misses, etc. that result from mechanical malfunction, material failure or human error. Identifies hazards and recommends preventative measures and corrective action.
Maintains proficiency in the latest industrial, technical and engineering EHS practices, planning, initiatives and requirements.
Assists in the auditing of the quality systems to support IATF and ISO certification.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of applicable experience.
OSHA 30 Hour General Industry desired; certifications in CHST, OHST, GSP, ASP or CSP would be a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office. Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, prioritize work, and operate with a sense of urgency.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to support the other business unit as needed.
