Experience required : 3 Years Education level : High school or equivalent Relocation assistance : No The skilled and dedicated CNC Setup Technician will be setting up CNC machines, creating and modifying programs, precision machining, measuring parts, deburring, and handling in-process documentation.
MUST HAVES : At least 3-5 years of CNC machine setup experience required Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges required Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds required Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders strongly preferred RESPONSIBILITIES : Set up CNC machines (mainly Haas Milling) to produce precision aluminum parts according to specifications and work orders.
Create and modify CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production willing to train! Operate CNC machines to execute production tasks.
Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure they meet the required specifications and high-precision tolerances using inspection tools.
Perform deburring operations to ensure parts meet quality standards. Accurately complete and maintain in-process documentation to track production progress and quality.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
