Connected Health Care, a recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Director of Quality & Risk Management for a client in Reno, Nevada.

Job Description :
- Oversee and manage quality improvement and risk management programs.
- Ensure compliance with CIHQ, CMS, State, and other regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and action plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret complex and diverse data to make informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff in the Quality & Risk Management department.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable healthcare or business field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of acute care hospital experience in quality improvement theories, reporting, and practices.
- Working knowledge of CIHQ, CMS, State, and other compliance standards.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on complex and diverse data.
- Knowledge of techniques such as root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.
Preferred :
- Master’s degree in an applicable healthcare or business field.
- Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Green Belt Six Sigma.
- State of Nevada Registered Nurse licensure or Interim Permit.
- Previous leadership experience in a Quality & Risk Management department setting.
