Packaging Machinery Service Engineer (#34481)

A Machine Manufacturing Company in the Phoenix, AZ area is looking for an Experienced Packaging Machinery Service Engineer (hybrid or remote opportunity with frequent travel required)

Responsibilities of the Packaging Machinery Service Engineer :

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance for Customer Machines
• Accurately maintain records for all customers, create machine Audits and reports
• Travel up to 50-75%
• Communicate professionally and quickly respond to the needs of customers
• Install and maintain equipment at different locations
• Drive to multiple locations in one day

Qualifications of the Packaging Machinery Service Engineer :

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or more than five years of experience doing field service
• Experience with PLC Programming and HMI’S - Required
• Understand Blueprints, and Machine drawings / schematics
• Understanding of all Microsoft Office Software
• Experience with corrugated paperboard equipment - Required
• Japanese or Portuguese fluency is a Plus, but not Required

This position includes working in a manufacturing and / or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.

You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
