About the role

This isn’t a straightforward product role. Yes, you will be thinking about user requirements, business problems and how to solve them with technology, but the difference is you’ll also be working out how to improve the business with other people’s technology too.

An important part of your focus will be strategically managing key vendor partnerships. This includes working with the business to understand their longer-term business objectives, and ensuring our third-party partners will deliver what we need as part of their product roadmaps.

You ll also develop an up-to-the-minute understanding of the competitive landscape to partner across our Product team on strategic product decisions.

This includes understanding the landscape in the Property Management product and technology space, as well as for adjacent solutions needed to enable Property Management, such as insurance, safety, IoT, and AI.

Since you’ll be managing a select portfolio of third-party applications, as well as contributing your knowledge of the competitive landscape to inform build vs buy decisions, you’ll need to apply your understanding of how these two approaches will work together.

You’ll be doing this in a very complex domain, where there are multiple levels of end user : inside our business, our partner’s business, our clients’ businesses, and our client’s customers.

You'll focus on key components of our diverse software portfolio across our US companies, which currently includes KW Property Management & Consulting, Spectrum Association Management, William Douglas Property Management, and CAS, but is likely to grow as more companies join the Odevo group.

You’ll gain a comprehensive and analytical view of our complex domain and the various software solutions, to advise on strategic decisions and effectively guide implementation efforts that deliver maximum value to both our business and customers.

Responsibilities

• Shape partner technology strategy that will contribute to driving Odevo’s digital transformation in property management.
• Become an expert in the US market and competitive property management products and adjacent solutions.
• Analyze internal and external platforms to identify and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Manage software relationships with key strategic partners, ensuring strategic and roadmap alignment to maximize Odevo's value from partnerships.
• Evaluate and recommend strategic software partners based on domain expertise and market fit.
• Provide input to and support the execution of Odevo's M&A strategy, including technology capability acquisitions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to guide the implementation of innovative solutions.
• Contribute to defining Odevo's broader product vision and strategy with a forward-looking approach.
• Engage with internal and external customers to gather requirements and insights for product enhancement.
• Measure the performance of launched product capabilities and continuously seek opportunities to improve customer value and experience.

Experience

• At least five years of experience shaping complex product strategies and roadmaps to deliver solutions that effectively meet business objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Background as a Product owner, Product manager or business analyst
• Experience directly managing relationships with multiple external vendors.
