DESCRIPTION : Role Purpose
Role Purpose
The Food & Nutrition Dietary Aide will be a competent Support Services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals / objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
Integrates ethics in all areas of practice. Adheres to confidentiality and patient's rights policies.
Supports the facilities' mission and values.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Licenses, Certifications, & Training :
Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hirePreferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Knowledge of PATIENT SAFETY science principles, theory, methods, standards and regulatory requirements and experience with patient safety analysis techniques (methods), including root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis. Required
Knowledge of HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Required
Ability to USE DATABASE SOFTWARE to enter, retrieve, sort, and filter information as necessary for reporting or report generation. Preferred
