Are you a detail-oriented individual with expertise in mortgage processes? We are seeking a skilled Loan Processor Assistant to join our client's team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the assumption process for mortgage transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities :
Manage the assumption process for mortgage loans, including reviewing applications and documentation
Collaborate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to gather necessary information and documentation
Analyze financial documents and credit reports to assess borrower eligibility for assumption
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth and timely assumption transactions
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines throughout the assumption process
Provide support and guidance to borrowers and stakeholders regarding assumption procedures and requirement
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mortgage processing or related roles
In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulations
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite
