Senior Electrical Engineer - REMOTE - 1011
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to work remotely for our client with their MEP firm.
This full-time, salaried position is open to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. Previous MEP experience is required.
Minimum Requirements :
- 10+ years of post-degree experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Current / Active NCEES registration
- Experience managing MEP / FP teams in Healthcare or Science / Technology sectors
- Proficiency in REVIT REQUIRED
- Experience with Microsoft Projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities :
- Expertise in Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Communications, and Electronic Security systems; experience with Process and Ground Support Equipment a plus
- Apply electrical concepts including demand calculations, one-line distribution diagrams, signal degradation, short-circuit analysis, and energy usage
- Develop and implement design criteria and systems from concept through construction
As an Electrical Designer :
- Implement distribution system criteria, research codes, and investigate system routing and equipment layouts
- Use design tools like NEC 70 code tables
- Coordinate layout and equipment locations with team members and other disciplines
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; Creo Parametric is a plus
As a Project Manager :
- Manage MEP / FP engineering and design projects
- Develop organizational skills for technical writing and time management
- Author design documents, respond to RFIs, and prepare meeting notes
