Our client is currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team!Scope of Role : Location : Oviedo, FLHours : Monday - Friday 8am to 5pmJob Engagement : Contract
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Greets patients as they arrive and manages 20 minute wait time.
- Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
- Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
- Enter all referral, hospital, outpatient, DME and other patient specialty health service authorizations into the computer system according to Company policy and procedure.
- Receives consultant reports, maintains documentation, and routes to the appropriate physician promptly.
- Answers phones and schedules appointments.
- Completes all administrative functions
Qualifications & Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,
- Experience with eCW (EMR system)
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
