Qualifications :

The Engineering Systems Engineering Design Software team is searching for a motivated Mid-Level Software Developer - Engineering Systems to join our team in North Charleston, SC;

Everett, WA Kent, WA; or Renton, WA.

As a part of the team, you will support our computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD / CAM) suite of tools including the Dassault Systems CATIA and Enovia applications, as well as numerous Boeing-built plug-ins and stand-alone applications.

In this mid-level role, you will help drive the implementation of new technologies to enable Boeing’s world-class Engineering team while working with teammates to strengthen our existing software footprint.

Position Responsibilities :

• Drives the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs
• Collaborates with teammates on analysis of end user processes to define application requirements
• Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
• Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance
• Identifies and recommends system and application improvements
• Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems
• Helps drive the development of custom software and integrations for current and future-state CAD / CAM solutions

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill / Experience) :

• 3+ years of experience programming in C / C++
• 3+ years of experience with software development, deployment, maintenance, and support
• 3+ years of experience with systems administration UNIX / HP-UX / Linux / AIX
• 3+ years of experience in CAD / CAM software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

• Experience developing and supporting the implementation of CATIA and / or Enovia.
• Experience with Dassault Systems CAA APIs.

Typical Education / Experience :

Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.

preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $121,550 - $164,450
