Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Serves as a liaison to the client fairs, communicates on a regular basis, answers questions and provides customer service.
- Prepares various solicitations, contracts, agreements, and construction documentation associated with the contracting process.
- Assists in coordinating the efforts of all entities involved in construction projects from design to closeout, including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, laborers, inspectors, administration staff, etc.
- Compiles project financial data and prepares financial reports and analyses.
- Maintains master construction files for each project, including agreements, contracts, drawings, logs, and insurance certificates.
- Initiates, prepares and maintains agreement forms for contractors and other professional service companies and / or regulatory agencies.
- Works with contracted personnel including labor compliance officers, inspectors, and other staff involved in construction projects.
- Assists with progress updates and informational notices.
- Participates in the development and implementation of project reporting systems.
- Performs tasks using software related to budgeting and scheduling, including databases, automated accounting systems, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Maintains appropriate review of prevailing wage reports, contractor invoices, change orders and / or work orders, respond to requests for certified payroll.
- Occasionally represents the company in project meetings.
- Takes meeting minutes as requested.
- Responds to public records requests.
- Perform additional assignments and duties as needed.
Qualifications :
- 4 or more years of experience in the maintenance of financial and contractual documentation for capital improvement / construction projects.
- Bachelors in related field preferred but not required
