Position Summary
The Diesel Mechanic / Instructor will provide instruction on the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of diesel trucks and critical subsystems including shop safety and operations, maintenance programs, diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, steering and suspension, brakes and HVAC systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare materials needed for course instruction, labs, testing, supplies;
- Provide basic lab maintenance and track inventory of equipment and tools utilized;
- Relate instruction and material to course objectives;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with students, other faculty and staff;
Submit grades, attendance, reports and records in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications :
ASE Diesel certified and 5 years experience required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Teaching experience preferred.
