Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Pharmacy Specialist Position
Location : Hartford,Connecticut
Type : Direct-Hire
Job Description : Join our team as a BMT Pharmacy Specialist, where youll coordinate and provide pharmacy services for bone marrow transplant patients.
Your role will include :
- Delivering drug therapy, pharmacokinetics, and medicinal therapeutics for both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Collaborating with the bone marrow transplant multidisciplinary team.
- Serving as a preceptor for residents and students.
- Overseeing clinical operations, policies, procedures, and pliance for bone marrow transplant.
Experience Required :
- PharmD, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
- Board certification in BCPS (Pharmacotherapy), BCOP (Oncology Pharmacy Specialist), or BCTXP (Solid Organ Transplant).
- Five years of clinical specialist experience in Pharmacotherapy, Oncology Pharmacy, or Solid Organ Transplant.
- One year of ASHP-accredited residency in the specialty can substitute for two years of clinical experience.
- Ability to obtain a CT Pharmacist license.
- Preferred : ASHP-accredited PGY-2 residency in Pharmacotherapy, Oncology Pharmacy, or Solid Organ Transplant.
- Significant experience in malignant hematology, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapies.
- Experience with EPIC, including its Beacon oncology module.
- Familiarity with USP 795, 797, and 800 regulations.
Work Schedule :
- Full-time, 80 hours every two weeks.
- Flexible hours between 7 : 30 am and 5 : 00 pm, with eight-hour shifts.
- Includes other shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
- 30-minute unpaid meal break.
