Southview Acres Health Care Center is recruiting an RN for the role of Building Charge Nurse.

Hours / Shift :

  • Full-Time Overnight (NOC)
  • Part-Time PM
  • Part time- Every Other Weekend

The responsibilities of theRN Building Charge Nurse include but are not limited to :

  • Leading and supervising nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs
  • Delegating direct resident care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
  • Coordinating and facilitating the delivery of resident care from healthcare professionals
  • Conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Contributing to the professional development of the nursing staff by providing ongoing education, training, and mentoring.
  • Communicating and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the facility

Qualifications & Skills :

  • A valid and active RN license from the state of Minnesota
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Management and / or supervisory experience
  • Must have a solid clinical knowledge foundation and nursing practice skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, their families, other healthcare professionals, and the nursing team
  • Must have proper organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Must be familiar with healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols is important for a charge nurse.
  • Must be able to uphold high ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
