Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director, Platform Automation & Governance to play a pivotal role in driving technology initiatives for our internal Operations.

The candidate will be a qualified technical development who will be responsible for defining and executing technology strategies.

Should be responsible for building company own IP and be able to drive large migrations.

As a senior leader, you will oversee a diverse team including managers, architects, system engineers, and quality engineers who develop and maintain the company's technology and solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and lead the platform operations team responsible for operationalizing new platform features.
  • Define and execute implementation roadmaps, enhance processes, and drive engineering efforts to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Drive operational efficiencies with tools, technology, and accurate reportable data.
  • Build / manage platform console to make the platform fully operational and enable self-service.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on their potential impact on customer needs.
  • Set goals and objectives for the team and guide them to achieve these targets.
  • Oversee environment scoping and onboarding processes for new client environments.
  • Establish and maintain customer communication and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Cyber Security Director to ensure the effective implementation and operation of control frameworks, including SOC2, ISO, HiTrust.
  • Develop capabilities, tooling, and processes to manage client-specific workloads and data pipelines.
  • Monitor technology performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Enhance application resiliency and stability through automation.
  • Maintain the security posture, partnering with EIT and CSO / ISO to ensure security is maintained.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Build strong relationships and partner with technology stakeholders to address integration challenges and dependencies.
  • Implement Tech FinOps strategies for application costing and monitoring.
  • Optimize the cost of environments.
  • Manage platform self-service, self-healing, API, End User Console, continuous monitoring, and DR environments.

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies :

  • 20 plus years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on delivery of customer needs and satisfaction
  • Must have work experience as a Manager or Director for more than 5 years
  • Should have good experience on Organizational, time-management and decision making skills
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
