    • As a Construction Project Estimator with Servpro of Duncanville / DeSoto , you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to inspect and photograph all damages .
  • Develop / write an estimate to include all construction services required to restore the structure and ensure customer and client satisfaction. (ie ITEL, material reports, engineering reports)
  • Document all communications and all follow up communications with customers and clients.
  • Communicate with adjusters and clients when needed for project approvals / authorizations.
  • Ensure estimate complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
  • Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos.
  • Assist Project Construction Manager when needed for scope or explanation of scope.
  • Follow the claim from inspection to close for documentation and all communications.

    • Position Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Previous construction experience Preferred
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Two years of Xactimate experience, including sketch (Required)
  • Construction knowledge.

    • Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

  • Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
  • Ability to walk and / or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
  • Ability to climb ladders for inspections and photos
  • Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
