Mechanical Assembler

Location : Franklin, IN
Job Duties :
- Follow blueprints to properly put together the mechanical assembly
- Assembling steel fabricated parts with fasteners
- Properly fitting pneumatic assemblies carefully
- Assemble components using fasteners and fittings
- Fabricating with magnetic drills, tapping, and grinding
- Transporting assemblies with forklifts / overhead cranes
- Ensure cleanliness standards are met handling fabrications
- Keeping the general environment and shared spaces clean
Shift : M-F 7am to 5pm, with potential for overtime
Job Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in mechanical assembling
- Must own tools
- Ability to understand blueprints
- Pneumatic assembly experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of a variety of fittings
- Previous experience with power tools (Magnetic drill, taps, drills, hand grinders, etc )
- Previous forklift and overhead crane experience
- Ability to operate mills
- Experience with welding
- Hand tool use
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work overtime
- Good written and oral communication
Pay : $18-$30 / hr
