PHP Teacher Assistant / BHT

Full-Time

Major Duties and Responsibilities : Under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Services & PHP with support of the SBHS Director of Education, if needed, the PHP Teacher Assistant / BHT supports educational and behavioral programming that will enable PHP patients to fully engage in PHP academic hour.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION : A high school diploma or GED is required. Knowledge of educational, child development and classroom teaching / management theories with a good understanding of educational and therapeutic interventions is preferred.

It is required to possess a valid Illinois driver’s license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years.
