The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler sells, plans and schedules aircraft maintenance for customers and coordinates with maintenance personnel and available resources.
This position also works to ensure that workflow is progressing, customers are informed and updated on progress, and billing and all paperwork is completed in a timely manner prior to aircraft delivery.
Responsibilities
General Duties :
- Representation of Atlantic Aviation in a professional and positive manner
- Application of the principles of the Atlantic Attitude at all times.
- Interaction with customers, vendors, and Atlantic Aviation employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a high level of safety and customer service.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Communication of work progress and significant issues with the Regional Maintenance Manager or other appropriate corporate representative.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
- Develop and maintain site practices and procedures that contribute to a safe, profitable, positive, and enjoyable work environment.
- Cultivate new business across product lines and region.
- Manage maintenance related marketing and advertising within the Maintenance Region.
- Schedule sales trips and appointments with prospective clients.
- Collect maintenance requests from clients and build quote or communicate quote requirements with headquarters for preparation.
- Submit repair quotes to customers and receive approvals.
- Provide a high level of customer service to meet / exceed our customers’ needs.
- Schedule aircraft maintenance for customers and develop and maintain productive customer relationships.
- Prepare and maintain calendar maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with Regional Management to assure scheduled work is compatible with available manpower.
- Keep customers informed and updated on the progress of inspections or repairs.
- Make recommendations on potential product line capabilities and growth opportunities based on demand.
- Networking at appropriate tradeshows with other vendors or pre-arranged meetings with customers during events.
- Any additional duties specific or unique to your location assigned by management.

Required Skills
- Experience selling maintenance for basic product lines including medium to heavy business jets.
- Demonstrated financial, administrative and management capability.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately within established timelines.
- Ability to meet requirements set forth by the Company as well as TSA (as required by location).
- Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays and be on call.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
