All in an environment that is fast paced, rewarding and truly values its team members! Timpte is looking for a Machinist for our BRAND NEW Lincoln Manufacturing Center in Lincoln , NE! In this role, you will operate and program multi-axis machining centers, as well as operate manual lathes and milling machines, ensuring efficient production of precision parts.

Pay for this position is $25-32 / hr based on experience + Monthly bonus.

Job Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machining centers, vertical machining centers, and manual toolroom equipment (Lathes, mills, bandsaws)
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using appropriate CAM software (e.g. Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or similar).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and work instructions to produce precision components from aluminum extrusions and other materials.
• Select proper tooling and cutting strategies to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Aid in the design and fabrication of production related fixturing for CNC equipment.
• Verify part conformity using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc).
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on CNC machinery to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures, quality standards, and ISO requirements.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
