The Role
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter with a passion for both technology and Otaku culture to join our high-growth global team.
You will play a key role in hiring top-tier talent, particularly Otakus, who share our commitment to revolutionizing the anime and manga streaming experience.
You will be responsible to :
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles across the company, from sourcing to offer stage, with a focus on tech and creative positions.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop job descriptions, and create recruitment strategies.
- Source and attract top talent, including candidates passionate about anime, and manga, through various channels.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future openings.
- Ensure a smooth candidate experience from interview scheduling through to onboarding.
- Work with recruitment tools to manage and track candidate data effectively.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication across time zones.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor hiring practices to continuously improve our recruitment strategy.
- Drive recruitment metrics including time to hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably in in-house roles, within a tech company or high-growth startup.
- A strong understanding of Otaku culture and a passion for anime and manga is essential.
- Previous experience recruiting for roles in creative industries or streaming platforms would be preferred.
- Proven track record of recruiting across multiple regions and time zones, ideally within Asia
- Hiring experience in Japan would be advantageous.
- Experience with recruitment tools and ATS systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to communicate with candidates globally.
- You are result-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- You possess strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- You can work independently and collaborate well with a global team.
