Job Description :

As an Account Manager at Alumanate, you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Sales Managers by managing customer accounts, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless sales process and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Support :
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers with order processing, including entering orders, confirming details, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Generate and follow up on quotes.
  • Track orders and provide customers with updates on their status.
  • Handle general customer inquiries, resolving issues and providing product information as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating joint sales efforts, such as preparing materials for presentations and supporting customer visits.
  • Account Management :
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional sales.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts
  • Proactively communicate with customers to address any concerns and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Use our CRM system to track customer interactions, orders, and opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to Regional Sales Managers on customer trends, needs, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Work with the operations and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in the plastics distribution is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in an inside sales, customer service, or account management role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing or industrial sectors (a plus).
