Accounting Clerk

Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Goshen.

As an Accounting Clerk you will :

• Payables Management : Scan, route, and enter payables per business unit; organize and process payments in accounting software while ensuring compliance with payment terms.
• Vendor Review : Verify vendor information and maintain accurate contact details.
• Reconciliation : Reconcile bank accounts across multiple datasets.
• Customer Inquiries : Respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously, utilizing de-escalation techniques for issue resolution.
• Shipping Invoicing : Process invoices for various shipments.
• Multi-tasking : Support multiple roles in a busy office environment.
• Communication : Clearly communicate with team members and customers; actively listen and provide feedback.
• Monthly Close Support : Assist with monthly closing processes, including statement generation and mailing.
• Additional Duties : Perform special projects as assigned by management

The ideal candidate will have the following mandatory skills / requirements :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Reconcile Bank Accounts
• Billing

Accounts Payable

• Invoicing
• Customer Service
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Accounting Experience

This is a full time opportunity. 8am- 5pm

Pay Rate : $22.00-$24.50 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
