Job Purpose :
The purpose of the eCommerce Platform Director is to ensure the successful operation and continuous improvement of Mingledorff’s eCommerce platforms, Digital Sales, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and aligning platform functionality with business objectives.
This role is crucial for bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation, driving online sales growth, and fostering a seamless and engaging digital customer journey.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Define and optimize customer experience within the eCommerce platform
- Collaborate with sales teams and customers to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement for the eCommerce platform
- Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement, sales conversion, satisfaction, and retention
- Own and manage the eCommerce platform, ensuring it aligns with business goals and customer needs
- Monitor platform performance and define enhancements to improve functionality and customer experience
- Oversee the content, product information, and overall site presentation
- Partner with internal sales teams to align eCommerce strategies with sales objectives
- Act as the primary liaison between the business and IT teams in defining requirements for and implementation of functionality within the eCommerce platform
- Clearly communicate business requirements to the IT team and ensure technical solutions meet business needs
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of platform performance
- Ensure seamless integration of the eCommerce platform with other business systems and technologies
- Participate in and facilitate testing of eCommerce platform functionality, including end user acceptance testing and regression testing
- Lead eCommerce projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Coordinate with the PMO to create project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct regular status updates and stakeholder communications
- Analyze eCommerce platform performance metrics and customer behavior to inform decision-making
- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Use data-driven insights to propose and implement platform improvements
- Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in eCommerce management, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices
- Proven track record of leading successful eCommerce initiatives
- Proven track record of improving customer experiences and driving online sales growth
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
- Strong technical background in eCommerce platform development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Experience with Magento eCommerce platform is preferred
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies
Travel Requirement :
Up to 20% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
