Our client is a global distributor of consumer electronics specializing in memory products and gaming hardware. They are seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join their Supply Chain team (5 days / week, on site) to support their operations with data analysis and reporting and identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies and cost-savings.
This role will bring not only data analytics experience, but also should have past experience as a buyer in a manufacturing setting.

Salary / Hourly Rate :
$85,000 $100,000
Position Overview :
The Purchasing Analyst will join a small, hard-working team of 4 and report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain. The Purchasing Analyst will support the Senior Manager and team of Buyers by analyzing and assessing data related to purchasing and other supply chain operations.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Analyst :
- Compile and analyze data from multiple sources including, but not limited to, supply chain, inventory, forecasts, and market trends
- Create reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics to assess supply chain operational performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and improve supply chain strategy
- Present reports and recommendations to team and upper management
Qualifications for the Purchasing Analyst :
- 5 years of experience with data analysis to improve supply chain and procurement operations
- Buyer experience in ANY industry within consumer products manufacturing
- Technical proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.), ERP systems, and Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work on site 5 days / week

Education Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or related field is preferred
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Data Analytics is a plus
