Title : Material Purchasing Associate (Temp to Hire)
Pay Rate : $23.00 - $25.00 / Hr W2
Description :
Confirm Schedule : 8-5pm
Top 3 Skills / Requirements :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in chemical procurement
- Strong background in Inventory control, MRP, Materials Management / Procurement
- Experience with business systems such as SAP, Kronos, Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power point and Outlook)
Buying of goods, materials, and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required
- Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree desired
- 3 to 5 years of experience in chemical procurement
- Strong background in Inventory control, MRP, Materials Management / Procurement
- Experience with business systems such as SAP, Kronos, Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power point and Outlook)
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.
