A law firm seeks a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their Denver, CO location.
Job Overview :
The Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling intellectual property matters, including patent and / or trade secret litigation, and providing counsel to clients on ongoing matters.
Duties :
- Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, focusing on patent and / or trade secret disputes.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client counseling.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and client advisories.
- Participate actively in all stages of the litigation process, from discovery to trial preparation.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and manage client relationships.
- Provide legal guidance and advice to clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues.
Requirements :
- Admission to a State Bar is required.
- Strong academic background in law and undergraduate studies.
- Preferred undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property matters, specifically in patent and / or trade secret litigation.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, leadership skills, and willingness to take on increased responsibility.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal and business principles relevant to intellectual property cases.
Education / Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to a State Bar.
Skills :
- Proven experience in intellectual property litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
