JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager, Owned Channels is a key contributor to the overall growth and management of the gift card programs across Inspire Brands : Dunkin’, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic, Jimmy John’s, Arby’s and Baskin Robbins.
This individual provides complete program management for the in-store and online B2C gift card channels, driving profitable sales through marketing, promotions and occasion-based gifting, and ensuring excellence in operations and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Co-own the overall growth and management of Inspire Brand’s gift card products together with the Director, Consumer Marketing Enterprise Loyalty
Provide complete program management, strategy and execution of each brand’s year-round in-store gift card program and seasonal promotions, working within each brand’s goals and defined processes and timelines
Manage strategy and execution of each brand’s year-round online B2C gift card program, focusing on occasion-based, last-minute gifting unique to the digital channel, and leveraging dynamic card design and promotions to drive sales and new guest engagement
Forecast, analyze, and present promotional performance metrics to include ROI to key stakeholders
Develop, vet and present gift card promotional ideas to brand leaders in support of brand goals and objectives, utilizing past-performance results and insights
Champion gift cards with brand marketing teams to ensure promotional marketing support and execution, and drive the awareness and use of gift cards as a profitable marketing tool
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a best-in-class in-store year-round gift card merchandising plan
Partner with Accounting Team on gift card documentation and reconciliation
Supervise and mentor Manager, Gift Card Operations and Gift Card Channel Manager
Maintain expertise on the competitive gift card landscape, market trends and customer expectations
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelors / Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION :
Minimum of 5-7 years direct experience in the gift card prepaid services industry
Proven track record of project management and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of overall gift card industry, including payment trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging verticals
Ability to manage multiple budgets with varying processes and complexities
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES :
Robust knowledge of overall gift card industry, including trends, legislation, and emerging verticals
Demonstrated success in planning innovative and targeted marketing programs and campaigns that generate profitable results
Proven performer in a cross-functional role that requires continual multi-tasking, pivoting and reprioritizing
Thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and successfully navigate within a shared services delivery model
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to form relationships and work successfully with business and technical teams, including brand leadership
Proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion
