Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas, and have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience, and preferred Certification in Adult, Family, or Public Health.
Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
Senior-level knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of specialty.
Very proficient ability to make professional nursing decisions and operate autonomously under written protocol.
Provides senior-level clinical services in specialty medical clinic, including medical assessment and treatment.
Evaluates and interprets patient condition through physical examination and laboratory procedures based on approved protocols;
diagnoses patient condition, provides patient treatment.
Performs routine and non-routine medical procedures based on approved protocols and departmental guidelines.
Instructs, educates, and counsels patients.
Senior level verbal and written communication / presentation
Skills.
Maintains confidentiality of client information as outlined in HIPAA guidelines.
Practice all OSHA safety standards including disposal of biohazard waste.
