Join us in a fast paced, highly technical trading organization as a business line systems analyst supporting the equity and option traders, assisting them with their key processes, systems, and controls.
You would be accountable for the supporting project analysis efforts, requirement gathering and alignment with business, vendor, and technology partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
Engaging your strong organizational skills with ability to support multiple projects concurrently, including data and reporting analysis, and providing timely and accurate reporting documents and project team communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for supporting project analysis, requirements gathering, testing and implementation.
- Provide support for the equity and options trading desk and be accountable for release management.
- Lead problem solving and troubleshooting discussions to ensure clear and concise requirements have been captured.
- Provide input and guidance to the business on determining the best solutions and system requirements for their specific needs.
Provide accurate, timely & responsive services to the business.
- Solve a variety of business problems related to technology and process issues.
- Lead small to medium scale projects including project documentation, status updates, testing and implementation.
- Act as liaison between equity and options trading desk, technology, and cross commits.
- Have foundational knowledge of system architecture and design.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred Bachelor's degree)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledgeable with securities trading processes, tools, or other relevant work experience
- Strong work ethic, high standards for accuracy and high level of personal accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of equity and option order entry and trading.
- Knowledge of order management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-organizational efforts.
- Ability to understand and apply technology as it relates to the business.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments while being able to shift priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues.
- History of working within a highly regulated environment
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Series 7 licensed
