Marketing Manager

With nearly $250 million in annual sales, World Finer Foods sells over 30 brands and over 600 products from around the world.
Today we manage a group of our own brands as well as client-owned brands. Our Specialty brand portfolio spans multiple categories with brands in a variety of stages of their lifecycles in the U.
S. market - from emerging brands to established specialty brands.
World Finer Foods has an immediate opening for a Client Relationship Marketing Manager on the Specialty Brands Marketing Team.
The successful candidate will have a service-oriented mindset combined with strong project management, analytical, communication and influencing skills.
They will act as "mini general managers" of the brands that they oversee, with responsibility for :
- Actively managing the relationship with third-party brand counterparts which may include export managers, marketing managers, and other key brand team members
- Aligning on business plans
- Communicating progress vs. business plan goals
- Documenting agreements and outstanding action items
- Advising on category and competitive developments
- Tracking expenses and billing back as needed
- Driving closure
- Creating and executing business plans with brands and cross-functional counterparts including sales, finance, supply chain, etc.
- Building retail presentations and other selling tools to support sales team calls
- Partnering with sales and purchasing teams to deliver accurate demand forecasts
- Securing additional funding from brands to support incremental volume driving activities
- Partnering with finance to develop and update cost models to support innovation launches
- Other duties as determined by management
Skills and Experience :
The ideal candidate will have business management, general marketing and / or finance experience. Client management or heavy cross-functional experience is preferred.
Individual should be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment and proactively deliver business solutions.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment and will bring a positive attitude to the team.
Requirements :
- Ability to lead / partner with clients / brand owners
- Strong negotiation / persuasion skills
- Exceptional time management, project management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable analyzing data from a variety of sources; strong quantitative skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong computer (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Experience :
- Minimum of 4-6 years of marketing or business management experience
- Client account management experience a plus
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Master's Degree (MBA) is preferred

Position reports to Vice President of Marketing. The position is full-time, exempt, hybrid (in-office 3x per week) located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and is available immediately.
