F-22 Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer - Security Clearance Required

Responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and processing all aspects of flight test instrumentation for the F-22 test aircraft.

Accomplish FTI hardware acceptance, modification, system integration, checkout, trouble-shooting and repair. Responsibilities will also include coordinating and interacting with several disciplines as they relate to flight test such as maintenance, configuration management, engineering, flight operations, security and quality.

Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when required; minimal travel may be required.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 2 years of professional experience;

or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

• Experience working with Aircraft Systems
• Experience with reading / interpreting engineering drawings,

blueprints and maintenance instructions

Desired Skills :

Flight Test Instrumentation Experience - Design or Installation or Troubleshooting or Operations

F-22 Aircraft System Knowledge

Experience with strain gauges, accelerometers, transducers.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics

Experience with Microsoft Office products; word, outlook, excel.

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level : Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 .

• Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons;
• receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;

receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000.
