Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular Surgery (IU Methodist Hospital)

Overview

Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular Surgery Division at our Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis, IN!

Position Details :

• Full-time, Day Shift Monday - Friday No nights, weekends, call or holiday requirements
• 100% Outpatient
• Join a collaborative team of 6 physicians and 8 APPs

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide patient care in outpatient clinic for post-op and follow up patients
• Collaborate with MDs on new surgery consults
• Provider will be the primary contact for most patients and provide guidance on perioperative management, medications and education

Qualifications :

• Master's Degree Required
• ACNP, AGNP, or PA certification required
• 1 year of experience as an APP is preferred
• If new graduate, multiple years of RN experience in a high acuity hospital is preferred
• Ideal candidate will also have experience and / or completed a clinical rotation with Cardiovascular Surgery

Facility Description
