Sheba Foods is a dynamic and growing company specializing in authentic African cuisine, distributed nationwide. We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our warehouse team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and ensuring products move efficiently through the supply chain.
Position Overview :
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the accurate movement and organization of materials within our warehouse.
Your duties will include receiving, storing, and preparing goods for shipment while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
This role is crucial in keeping our supply chain running smoothly and ensuring that our delicious products reach customers on time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of materials.
- Move products throughout the warehouse using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
- Safely stack, organize, and store items in the appropriate locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring orders are correctly packed and labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations.
What You’ll Bring :
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- A team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn how to operate warehouse equipment, with training provided.
- Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a related role is a plus but not required.
