We are in the process of recruiting an IT Risk and Compliance Specialist to work in our team located in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

This role is geared towards individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of compliance within the IT industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and manage IT risks within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, Compliance software, Concur, and CRM to manage and mitigate risks
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
  • Handle complaints related to compliance and risk issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Maintain knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees to improve understanding and awareness of compliance protocols and requirements
  • Continuously improve IT systems and processes to ensure they are up-to-date with current compliance requirements
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding compliance initiatives, issues, and changes.
  • Proficiency in ERM.
  • Expertise in AML - Anti Money Laundering principles.
  • Proven experience in Auditing, with a focus on IT Risk and Compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Complaint Handling in an IT environment.
  • Solid understanding of Compliance regulations and best practices in the IT sector.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.
  • Prior work experience in a similar role is a plus.
