Job Summary : JOB SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY

Provide, under direct supervision, support for specified research projects.

The Research Field Collector will be involved in data collection for large scale research projects focused on autism and the transition to adulthood.

This involves scheduling and interviewing youth / adults with autism and their supporters (often parents), as well as facilitating the completion of online surveys.

This position will also enter and verify data.

Preferred Education, Skills and / or Experiences :

The person in this position will be collecting surveys for analysis and must be very detailed oriented in administering and following the protocols in place.

Working and communicating within a team environment is crucial to the success of this project.

Key Functions and Expected Performances :

  • Collect survey data and must be very detail oriented in following the protocols.
  • Be involved in data entry and data integrity with understanding of database systems ( REDCap)
  • Compile end of shift reports and weekly update summaries.
  • Have respectful interactions with parent-child dyads.
  • Ensure clear communication with project staff.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of acceptable procedures and techniques.
  • Participate in participant retention strategies.

Additional Information :

This is a part-time position which may include evenings and weekends , as the study requires.
