We are seeking a VP of Sales to join our iHeartMedia Automotive team who loves to sell, loves to build, and loves to win.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Automotive category, and understand the landscape, the language, and the nuance of advertising at the Tier 1 level.
This Sales role requires a creative thinker with the ability to look across iHeartMedia’s platforms to recommend the most powerful solutions.

You will get to collaborate with experts in marketing, programming, research, data, analytics, podcasting, music, and artist relations as you build new approaches to driving impact.
This is not a get-proposal / send-proposal role! Your core KPI is finding big revenue opportunities within auto organizations, developing meaningful partnerships and solutions, creating solid and trusted relationships with client and agency teams, and growing / retaining revenue against your client base.
What You'll Do :
Responsibilities include :
Develop and own Client and Agency relationships with the goal of driving revenue across the iHeart enterprise against your book of business.
Opportunity to develop those identified as emerging accounts as well.
Evangelize audio within the category with Client and Agency partners and work with iHeart Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize our approach based on marketplace feedback and your perspective.
Collaborate with Marketing, Research and Planning teams in the development of proposals and bespoke programs.
Maintain close, collaborative relationship with iHeart Client Partnerships / Account Management teams assigned to your programs, maintaining contact and oversight throughout execution and optimization.
Coordinate with iHeartMedia divisional Sales contacts as needed in shaping, revising and sell-through of proposals.
Formulation and maintenance of Client Account Strategy Plans aimed at growing revenue specific on your accounts; maintain tracking via Salesforce.
Be the voice of iHeartMedia category expertise at key client events and industry engagements

What You'll Need :
10+ years in media / advertising / sales, 5 7+ years of experience working in the automotive space, leading and designing strategy, and driving measurable results with Client and Agency partners across all levels.
Experience in presenting strategic marketing plans and programs to high-level executives. Experience in working through automotive timelines, creative, and messaging across auto tiers, auto-targeting platforms, and general nuances of the category.
Ability to interpret and action marketing analytics and insights
Experience working with remote Sales leadership
Self-starter who has demonstrated success in managing a book of business
Strong analytical skills with a strong foundation of data and communicating the benefits of marketing opportunities to brands
Creative problem solver who is highly adaptable to change
Deep collaborator who has expertly navigated matrixed organizations, demonstrating their ability to influence others and build trust

Compensation :
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
