As a Manager of Labor Relations here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing aspects of human resources for our Port Manatee, FL location .
Key responsibilities include :
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide guidance to management on employee relations matters.
- Continuously improve LER processes.
- Identify and mitigate employee relations risks.
- Support change initiatives in a fair and equitable manner.
- Drive time-sensitive and impactful employee relations strategies.
- Communicate emerging LER practices, legislation, and their implications for the business.
- Manage employee relations programs and training.
- Leveraging Voice of the Employee data to drive engagement and support employee work experiences
- Partner with businesses to deploy effective labor and employment relations activities.
- Coordinate with legal and labor departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
YOU MUST HAVE :
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Labor and employee relations experience
WE VALUE :
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Human resources experience
- Process orientation, including project management skills and ability to use data
- Strong communicator with ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
- Experience with employee relations in a Union and non-union environment
- Able to collaborate effectively and lead teams across organizations
