Summary : Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, this position includes internship assistance with painting, carpentry, heating and ventilation, electrical and plumbing, and other duties as required.

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assists (hands-on) with general repairs including but not limited to painting and carpentry.
• Assists with maintaining preventive maintenance schedule.

Required Education / Experience :

• Preferred educational background : High School Diploma or GED or working towards a degree.
• Ability to work as a team member and take direction.

Required Skills / Knowledge :

• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to problem solve, and demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and dependability.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel or other spreadsheet formats.
• Understanding of the persons served by Bridgewell and the ability to balance their needs with the facility upkeep and management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and exercise good judgment.
